Email Phishing and Hijacking
|
A reminder to practitioners and staff to be vigilant as there appears to have been an increase in the legal industry being targeted with email hijacking and phishing.
|
|
Scammers use your actual email address to send an email to someone else usually with a link in the email to a site such as OneDrive. Phishing is an attempt to obtain personal information by linking to a malicious site which appears reputable, such as Dropbox.
