Thank you Jen and welcome Ann!
|
As some of you may now already know, our longstanding secretariat administrator, Jen Richards, has made a decision to retire effective 30 June 2025. Jen has been an integral part of the operations of Newcastle Law Society for many years and her work ethic and professionalism have always been greatly appreciated. Just as importantly, and asking anyone that Jen spoke with, they will tell you that she has always communicated with our members and the broader public in a cheerful and kind manner. On behalf of the NLS I take this opportunity to sincerely thank Jen for her work with us and wish her all the very best for her retirement.
I can also now advise that the committee has engaged Ann Parisi as the new NLS administrator. Ann brings a wealth of experience to the role having assisted other regional law societies. Ann has been slowly integrating into her new duties over the past one to two months and some of you may already have had contact with her. I trust that you will all make Ann feel welcome to the role.
