Chamberlains Law Firm is currently seeking a Lawyer to join our Insolvency and Litigation Team in our Sydney or Newcastle offices.

About the Role:
We are looking for a Lawyer to join our Newcastle office. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years post admission experience and be looking to progress their career to the next level.
You will have excellent mentoring from highly experienced team members who will assist you with your career development. We aim to provide a balance of supervision and autonomy to allow you to develop as quickly as possible.
Training in these areas will be provided. Initially, you will be:
*Independent carriage of files
*Drafting correspondence and legal documents
*Conducting research
*Liaising with potential new clients and existing clients
*Attending client appointments
*Assisting with drafting marketing articles
*Working closely with Associates and Directors
*Attending court
About you:
*Experience in insolvency and litigation
*Be able to work both independently and as part of a team
*Manage your time efficiently and use initiative
*Have excellent organisational skills
*Have good judgment and common sense
*Be proactive and self-motivated
